PrideStaff is working with an established manufacturing and distribution company seeking a Production Batching Specialist to join its growing team. The Production Batching Specialist will accurately calculate batch sizes and blend raw materials. The Production Batching Specialist is an entry-level role with the opportunity to advance to a Chemical Systems Operator. The Production Batching specialist is a full-time, direct-hire position in Kansas City, KS.

Production Batching Specialist Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Production Machinery to Blend Raw Materials to Required Specifications
• Oversee the Production Processes Throughout the Manufacturing Operations, Including Equipment Performance, Tank Levels & Temperatures
• Ensure Product Specifications are met by Performing Quality Control Checks, Collecting Samples & Making the Necessary Adjustments
• Ensure Production & Manufacturing Records are Accurate & Calculate Batch Size
• Ensure Tanks, Drums & Totes are Properly Prepared, Filled & Labeled
• Load & Unload Trucks
• Follow all Safety Procedures & Hazardous Waste Handling Requirements & Ensure Compliance With DOT Regulations
• Participate in Managing Hazardous Waste, Spill Response, Inspections & Related Documentation
• Assist in General Plant Operations & Training of New Hires as Needed
• Assist With Other Duties as Assigned

Production Batching Specialist Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2+ Years of Manufacturing Experience, Chemical Industry Experience is Helpful but not Required
• Forklift Certification Preferred
• Must be Able to Read & Interpret Documents, Including Procedure Manuals
• Must be Able to Follow Written, Oral, or Visual Instructions
• Must be Proficient in Basic Math, Including Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division
• Must Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills & be Able to Work as Part of a Team
• Must be Proficient Using Computer Applications
• Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Sit, Reach, Balance, Crouch, Crawl & Kneel
• Must be Comfortable Working in an Outdoor, Loud Environment with Occasional Exposure to Fumes & Airborne Particles

• Must be Able to Lift Up to 75 Lbs.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $27.00
