Job Title: QA Automation Lead

Location: 100% Remote
Term: Full Time







Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Lead with over 15 years of expertise in quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading test planning, quality governance, and the development of test strategies. This role requires a strong focus on API testing, stakeholder coordination, and validation of acceptance criteria to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure quality across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the QA team in executing automated and manual testing processes, focusing on API testing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Establish quality governance practices to monitor and improve testing processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to quality and testing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
• Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting quality status and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in API testing, with a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services.
• Expertise in test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in QA and testing, with a focus on automation.
• Relevant certifications in QA or testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
