As a SAP Business Analyst, you will be part of the Enterprise Transformation and IT organization supporting cross-functional teams and external implementation partners. The ideal candidate will have strong requirements analysis, disciplined testing and validation leadership, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Business AnalystLocation: Durham, North CarolinaPay Range: $60-70What's the Job?Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, Enterprise Transformation, Information Technology, Quality & Compliance, and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of SAP and enterprise application initiatives. Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and system requirements; maintain requirements traceability to ensure solutions meet business objectives and regulatory expectations. Lead testing activities across SAP S/4HANA initiatives and integrated enterprise applications, including SIT, UAT, regression, end-to-end process testing, and validation evidence for audit readiness. Translate cross-functional business needs across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations into functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and user-ready documentation. Support change management, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and post-production stabilization by ensuring defects, data validation, and validation documentation are complete and accurate.What's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, SAP Analyst, Tester, or similar role supporting enterprise applications and business process transformation. Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments, including enhancements, upgrades, integrations, testing, and process improvements. Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, reporting, and system requirements (including process maps, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices). Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing and validation disciplines, and regulated industry compliance requirements including SOX, Computer System Validation (CSV), and GxP standards; experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, SAP ALM, SAP Tricentis, or similar platforms.What's in it for me?Opportunity to drive quality and compliance through structured testing, validation, and traceable requirements management.
