In addition to being a subject matter expert, this person will be integral in training teams, coaching and optimizing their sales approach, and creating winning strategies that extend the life of every campaign. The candidate will also be responsible for creating solid partnerships with advertising customers, local station leadership and fulfillment teams. We're looking for someone who has experience in managing people and processes, and someone who understands the fundamentals of the businesses of our broad customer base. If you're an industry leader, we're interested in talking to you.Specific duties include:Manage team of 10+ local Marketing Sales Managers, each of whom has revenue goals to achieveConduct client-facing presentations with local Sales and Marketing Specialists and local advertising clientsDevelop strategies to increase client retention and ensure Sales and Marketing Specialists' success for market penetration, average deal size, and total revenueCollaborate with delivery staff, ad operations, and vendors to find optimal workflows for all fulfillment dutiesDefine, measure and report on the KPIs that are most meaningful for client successProvide the VP of Digital Sales with monthly outlook and revenue forecastCollaborate with VP of Digital Sales and in-market Sinclair Broadcast leadership to set objectives and key resultsWork closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales and operationsPerform other related duties as assignedDesired skills/experience:Proven track record of developing and managing people/teams and sales processDemonstrated success in building and maintaining top-tier customer relationshipsStrong business acumen with a thorough understanding of marketing strategies, general business cycles and consumer behaviorReal experience and success communicating and working directly with advertising customers on identifying and achieving their business goalsStrength in running multiple unique strategic projects concurrentlyExpertise in developing businesses using broadcast and digital marketing toolsConsistent goal achievement and the ability to forecast accuratelyQualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years of experience in traditional and/or digital media salesExperience managing a large multi-state territoryProficient in the use of office software and CRM toolsExcellent communication, presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skillsPrevious sales management experience is preferredThe Practical StuffWhy Join AMP Sales & Marketing Solutions? / The Reasons You Should Hit "Apply Now"Serious Work, Seriously Cool People: Be part of an agile team that values creativity, collaboration, and fun! The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000 and performance based bonuses. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
