Job Description:
The PACU RN will provide care for post-anesthesia patients recovering from surgical procedures at the Medical City Heart & Spine. The role involves monitoring recovery, managing pain relief, and ensuring medical stability before discharge or transfer to an inpatient unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 16-bed unit.
- Monitor vital signs and assess pain levels, sedation, and post-surgery recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and quick recovery.
Requirements:
- Critical Care ICU experience
- PACU experience
- ACLS certification
