Cashier at the Aquarium of The PacificLegends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cashier at the Aquarium of The Pacific. This position is responsible for the overall accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory management and cash handling.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory at the assigned concession stand.Performs location worker assignments.Stands for long periods of time.Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Food & Beverage Manager.Organizes paperwork including cashier physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, and cash slips.Verifies the correct item prices according to the menu.Stocks and restocks products upon delivery to the location.Monitors proper recording of employees' meals and meal vouchers (if applicable).Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage operations.Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.Maintains a clean, safe working environment.Complies with transfer and requisition, cash handling, and purchasing policies and procedures.Must have a valid California Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
