This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state equivalent.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required.
• Must be nicotine-free and pass a negative 10-panel drug screen.
