In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain a professional armed presence and conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established armed-post protocols and escalation procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; identify suspicious behavior and/or policy violations; and promptly report security-related concerns.
• Document patrol activity and incidents accurately, and coordinate with store leadership, emergency responders, and/or law enforcement when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
