Journeyman / Experienced Residential Service Electrician – Springfield / Southwest Missouri

$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS | $70,000–$100,000/year

Mr. Electric is hiring an experienced Service Electrician for our Southwest Missouri team serving Springfield and nearby communities including Nixa, Ozark, and Marshfield.

THE ROLE

As a Residential Service Electrician, you will serve homeowners throughout Springfield and the surrounding Southwest Missouri market. You will handle electrical repairs, installations, upgrades, and complex troubleshooting while providing a professional customer experience.

You will:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical problems

• Complete electrical repairs and installations safely and correctly

• Handle work ranging from fixtures and routine repairs to panels, wiring, and more complex service calls

• Explain findings, options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners

• Identify electrical safety concerns and help customers understand available solutions

• Deliver clean, professional workmanship and respectful in-home service

• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality

• Use an iPad and field-service software to manage customer visits and job information

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of professional-level electrical experience

• Have residential electrical troubleshooting experience

• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record

• Enjoy meeting homeowners and solving problems

• Are professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Are comfortable using a tablet and field technology

• Welcome coaching and want to keep improving your technical and customer-service skills

ABOUT THE SPRINGFIELD POSITION

This is a field-service role supporting Springfield and nearby Southwest Missouri communities, including Nixa, Ozark, and Marshfield. You should be comfortable driving throughout the local service area and working inside customers’ homes.
