Salary:
Job Title: Lead Carpenter - Pay Commensurate with Experience/Negotiable
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and be able to lead a team of carpenters in completing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the construction of projects from start to finish.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail throughout the project.
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, finish carpentry, and other related work.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team of carpenters.
- Proficient in carpentry techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
