Central Sterile Supply Technician

Location: Pomona, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Mid 5x8-Hour shift (15:00 - 23:30); Rotating weekends and holidays every 4th weekend.

Job Description: As a Central Sterile Supply Technician, you will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilizing, and proper storage of surgical instruments and equipment. Your role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of sterile conditions while supporting surgical teams and patient care operations.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and disinfecting surgical equipment and instruments.
• Operating sterilization equipment and monitoring sterilization processes.
• Assembling and packaging surgical instrument sets and trays.
• Maintaining accurate records for sterilization and cleaning protocols.
• Collaborating with surgical and healthcare teams to ensure efficiency and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: CRCST or CBSPD.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of ANSIA/AAMI, AORN, and Title 22 standards.
