Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Contract Details Location: Falls Church, VA Shift: 3-12's Days Patient Ratios: 1:6 Charting System: Meditech Facility & Unit Overview Unit Details: Adolescent Behavioral Health (Located on Floor 3N of the Main Hospital). Bed Size: 43-bed unit. Staffing Mix: Highly supported unit! Day shifts typically run with 6 RNs, 9 Techs, and 2 ACMs. Night shifts run with 5 RNs, 7 Techs, and 2 ACMs. Unit Culture: The Adolescent Unit boasts a strong teamwork culture. They are looking for travelers who enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing excellent, customer-service-oriented care to teens and their families. Common RN Duties: Leading RN therapy groups, handling admissions/discharges, clinical assessments, and medication administration (Pyxis). Requirements & Experience Experience (Required): Must have prior Behavioral Health / Psychiatric clinical experience. Experience (Preferred): Direct experience working with adolescents (ages 13–17) is highly preferred and will make your profile stand out! EMR Requirement: Prior Meditech experience is strictly required. Certifications: AHA BLS and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification are required.
