The Director of Laboratory Services - Blood Bank oversees hospital-based blood bank operations, managing a team of fewer than 10 staff members. This role requires a working manager who actively performs both leadership and standard Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician duties to ensure efficient and compliant laboratory service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospital-based blood bank operations
• Supervise and lead a team of fewer than 10 staff
• Perform standard MT/MLT blood bank duties alongside director responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with blood bank procedures and regulatory standards
• Maintain quality control and safety protocols within the blood bank

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in blood bank laboratory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of blood bank procedures
