Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive occupational health services at the CDC's campus locations. This role requires advanced clinical skills and experience in emergency response and occupational health.

Starting Salary Range for Nurse Practitioner: $75.00 $80.00 per hour

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

Provide primary and occupational health care including medical and respiratory exams, immunizations, and treatment of work-related illnesses.

Perform pre-travel consultations, administer vaccines, and provide travel medications.

Conduct diagnostic testing and manage medical referrals.

Document clinical interventions in the electronic medical record system.

Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical supplies.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Provide support during surge events and public health emergencies.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory/management authority

Basic Qualifications:

Graduate or higher-level degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or other recognized accrediting body.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in occupational health or related clinical settings.

Experience in emergency response and managing health incidents.

Experience in performing diagnostic tests and administering treatments.

Strong clinical skills in providing occupational health services.

Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic medical record systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
