Two Pharmacy Technician Opportunities – Ventura County Medical Center, Ventura, CA
Ventura County Medical Center, serving as the primary county hospital, is currently seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to join their pharmacy team on a contract basis. These positions offer the chance to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced, hospital environment known for comprehensive healthcare services.

- Ventura County Medical Center, Ventura, CA
Position Details:
- Contract duration: 13 weeks+
- Immediate start available
- Two openings available
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage conditions
- Assist in the management of pharmacy operations aligning with hospital policies
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and patient information
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Proficient in pharmacy systems and prescription filling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Prior experience in a hospital or medical center pharmacy setting is an advantage

Compensation for this position ranges from $22.00 to $26.00.
