What You'll Do As a BAYADA Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities may include: Bathing, grooming, and toileting Dressing and personal hygiene Meal preparation and feeding Medication reminders Light housekeeping and laundry Bed making and other household tasks Assistance with ambulation and transfers Range-of-motion exercises Vital sign checks Companionship and emotional support Helping clients maintain their independence at home What We're Looking For We’re looking for caregivers who are: Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful Passionate about helping others Committed to providing quality care Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned Comfortable working independently with clients Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome, but not always required. Training may be available for qualified candidates. For Experienced CHHAs Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have: A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position Interviews Available Virtual and in-person interviews available.
