11-7am RN Supervisor Full Time EOW

$1250 Sign On Bonus Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Oversight Supervise and coordinate nursing care for residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. Assess residents’ conditions and respond promptly to changes in status. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records. Administer medications and treatments as required. Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers. Staff Supervision Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during assigned shifts. Provide guidance, support, and clinical direction to staff. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and assignment coverage. Monitor staff performance and address performance issues in accordance with facility policy and collective bargaining agreements, if applicable. Report incidents, accidents, and concerns to the DON/ADON. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with CMS, state Department of Public Health, and facility regulations. Participate in survey preparedness and respond appropriately during inspections. Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times. Maintain resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality. Quality Assurance & Safety Identify and report quality of care issues. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents as needed. Communication Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Serve as the nursing leadership contact during assigned shifts. Escalate concerns appropriately to nursing leadership. Qualifications Education & Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut CPR certification required. Experience Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to supervise and motivate staff. Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a nursing environment.
