Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Oregon or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance standards
