Legal Lead

Job Responsibilities

· Handle information disclosure and carry out corporate governance activities for a public company.

· Arrange and coordinate General Meetings of Shareholders and Board of Directors meetings.

· Process applications for the issuance, amendment, and renewal of Enterprise Registration Certificates, Investment Registration Certificates, and other licences required for company operations.

· Handle disputes and litigation before competent courts as assigned.

· Review and advise on legal matters arising across the organization’s operations.

· Carry out other duties assigned by the Head of Legal.

· Perform additional tasks requested by management in line with the company’s operating needs.

Job Requirements

· University degree in Law.

· At least 7 years of experience in corporate legal matters.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office applications.

· Ability to communicate in English.

· Integrity, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility.

· Good analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work under substantial pressure.

· Sound knowledge of enterprise, investment, and securities laws, as well as public-company governance requirements.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative in handling assignments and coordinating with departments and management.

· Willingness to undertake other duties assigned by management.

· Experience with public companies is preferred; candidates from unlisted public companies are also considered.

· Well-rounded experience in information disclosure, General Meetings of Shareholders, Board of Directors meetings, and corporate governance is highly valued.

· Experience in corporate legal advisory, contract review, and resolving legal issues arising in business operations.

· Law-firm experience may be considered, provided in-house legal work accounts for most of the candidate’s career.

· Lawyer certification is not required.
