Material Handler- 1st Shift

Inventory CoordinatorThis position compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas.Duties:Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priorityMove materials (using a forklift or pallet jack) and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areasConfers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material statusExamine material received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked partsMay assist in packaging boxed finished goods for motor freight shipment, such as banding, marking, strapping, etc.Perform any related duties as required or assignedRequirements, Education, Skills:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Must have forklift/tow motor experience and be able to pass certification test.Must be able to lift 50lbs and on occasion up to 75lbs.Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and basic mathematical ability.Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
