Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities This position is a field role within Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Conducts complex risk assessments of insured properties and operations, providing detailed physical and operational insights to support underwriting decisions. Identifies potential risk exposures and formulates strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks. Analyzes loss data to identify trends and implements tailored loss prevention programs. Provides advanced technical guidance and conducts training for clients on safety practices and regulatory compliance. Delivers joint marketing presentations in collaboration with underwriting, claims, and sales to accounts and agents. May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum 13 years in loss control, risk management, or related property & casualty insurance field. Preferred completion or progress toward a professional designation such as CSP, ARM, CFPS, CSHMS, ALCM, or OHST. Scope of Job/Qualifications: Works on assignments of higher technical and logistical complexity. Demonstrates advanced analytical, risk assessment, and problem‑solving skills. Maintains advanced knowledge of company policies and industry laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and results‑oriented consultative approach. Viewed as a senior resource in the Loss Control department or organization, providing technical advice and support to lower‑level positions, management, and other departments. Salary Range $104,000.00 – $130,000.00 Benefits Competitive benefits packages for full‑time and part‑time employees.
