Hartford Hospital Inpatient Rehab Unit

Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of our state-of-the-art Inpatient Rehab Unit within Hartford Hospital. All 26 beds are in private inpatient rooms giving our patients access to ongoing acute medical management, 24-hour rehabilitative nursing care and the latest rehab techniques. Our dedication to delivering personalized coordinated care coupled with the healing environment offered by this unit shortens length of stay and allows our patients a quicker and healthier return to home.

Position Description

Per diem opening. Flexible schedule. Minimum of 16 hours/2 days per month requirement. One 8-hour shift must be on weekend, the other 8-hour shift can be during week or on the weekend pending need/availability. Holiday availability preferred.

We're seeking a dedicated and caring Occupational Therapist (OT) who would like the opportunity to be part of a team with a patient-centered approach, which brings decades of experience in providing the most innovative care. This position will treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions. Our Inpatient Rehab Unit features a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere and approach to patient care.

Qualifications

Inpatient rehabilitation experience highly preferred. Graduate of Occupational Therapy Program from an accredited American Occupational Therapy Association school, BS, MS or Doctoral degree. Current Occupational Therapist (OT) License or eligibility required.
