2nd Shift Injection Molding Process Technicianfitchburg, MA 014202nd Shift Injection Molding Process TechnicianJoin Our Manufacturing TeamMicron Solutions is looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Fitchburg, MA.In this hands-on role, you'll set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, perform mold changes, monitor processes, and keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll also have the opportunity to work with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.If you have hands-on injection molding experience and enjoy troubleshooting equipment and solving process problems, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoSet up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machinesPerform mold and job changeoversSet up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipmentRespond to machine alarms and processing issuesMake process adjustments within established parametersMonitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stabilityTroubleshoot basic robotics and automation issuesComplete required production and process documentationIdentify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiencyWork with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issuesFollow established safety, quality, and manufacturing proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaWhat We're Looking ForRequired:High school diploma or GEDHands-on injection molding processing experienceExperience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machinesExperience performing mold changes and machine setupsStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and respond to production issuesAbility to work 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PMPreferred, but not required:3+ years of injection molding experienceExperience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipmentExperience in medical device or other regulated manufacturingScientific molding or process troubleshooting experienceRJG/Master Molder or other plastics processing trainingExperience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks or another manufacturing ERP systemDon't meet every preferred qualification?
