Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Commercial Superintendent Company is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of commercial construction projects throughout New Jersey, Delaware, and Eastern Pennsylvania. This individual will manage field activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and quality standards, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Client Details Our client is a well‑established, full‑service general contracting firm that has served the Mid‑Atlantic construction market since the 1990s. With a skilled leadership team, the company has built a reputation for delivering high‑quality commercial construction projects across New Jersey, Delaware, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Manage all on‑site construction activities from project kickoff through completion. Ensure project schedules are maintained and milestones are achieved. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met. Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates. Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize project delays. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations. Qualifications 2‑5+ years of construction experience, preferably within commercial construction. Experience with ground‑up, renovation, fit‑out, or tenant improvement projects is highly preferred. Sitework experience is strongly preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain productive working relationships on‑site. Driven, coachable, and eager to build a long‑term career with a growing contractor. Job Offer Competitive base salary: up to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
