Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Shift: 5 PM - 5 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care for expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the labor process, ensuring the health and safety of the mother and newborn.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform and assist in procedures such as labor induction, C-sections, and other interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to precept other nurses.
