Java Automation Engineer - Hybrid

Java Automation EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Java Automation Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX. This is a contract to hire opportunity.This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of intelligent automation, machine learning, and business process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Java/Spring developer and will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks and enterprise applications to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of intelligent automation, machine learning, and business process automation solutions using Java, Python, and Spring FrameworkDesign and develop scalable automation frameworks, reusable components, and enterprise applicationsBuild, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and AI-driven solutionsDesign and implement robust application architectures using Java, Spring Framework, Python, and RESTful APIsDevelop integrations between automation platforms, enterprise applications, databases, and APIsDesign and optimize data models and application integrations leveraging SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and OracleDrive automation modernization initiatives by identifying opportunities to apply AI and machine learningCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelop secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standardsParticipate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussionsSupport Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimationTroubleshoot and resolve complex application, automation, and integration issuesLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and accelerate deliveryRequirements:Proven background as a Java/J2EE developerExperience with Spring Framework, including Spring BootProficiency in PythonExperience designing and implementing solutions on automation platformsDesired Skills:WorkFusion platform experience, including development and ML capabilitiesExposure to Machine Learning (ML)Experience with ML Model development using both out-of-the-box models and PythonExperience working with distributed testing teams across multiple geographiesKnowledge of the banking domainPay range: $46.09 - $54.09 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
