Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Kershaw, SC. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
