Position Summary
At Bright Kids Learning Academy, children are immersed in creative ways to learn concepts and skills. Lead Teachers provide strategies and effective tools to ensure children have meaningful learning experiences daily. They create environments that are socially and emotionally positive, cognitively stimulating, and supportive of each childs culture, language, ethnicity, and family structure. Our passionate teachers use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Lead Infant Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging little childrens intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Responsibilities

• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, play-based learning, media, etc.)
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NC Foundations
• Observe and assess each childs development and adjust instruction accordingly
• Foster childrens social, emotional, and academic growth
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times in accordance with licensing standards
• Collaborate with other educators and leadership
• Maintain a clean and compliant classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress and needs
• Support and guide Assistant Teachers in daily classroom execution

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum 12 EDU credit hours required
• Proven experience as a Lead Teacher
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• CPR, First Aid, and SIDS Certification required
• Reliable, professional, and consistent

Pay

• Range: $17.00 $20.00 per hour
• Starting pay is based on education, classroom experience, and alignment with role expectations
