Strategic Sourcing Manager-Print/Promotional Products

Strategic Sourcing Manager with strong experience in print, displays/POS, branded merchandise, or related categories, who can manage vendor relationships and sourcing strategy.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, with strong Excel and Power BI skills, and can use spend and vendor data to identify opportunities and make actionable business recommendations. This is a hands-on, mid-level role with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, data analysis, and vendor management.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will support sourcing strategy across key point-of-purchase categories, including print, displays, and branded merchandise. This position will combine strategic sourcing, vendor relationship management, and data analysis to identify opportunities, optimize spend, and provide actionable recommendations to the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sourcing or category management professional who enjoys working with data, understanding supplier performance, and turning information into strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across key categories, including print, displays, and branded merchandise
- Analyze historical sourcing data, spend patterns, vendor performance, and market information to identify trends and optimization opportunities
- Translate data and analysis into actionable sourcing recommendations for internal stakeholders and leadership
- Develop and maintain sourcing strategies that support cost optimization, quality, service, and business objectives
- Manage and develop relationships with strategic suppliers and vendor partners
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, pricing, and overall value to the organization
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential suppliers
- Partner with internal teams to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support vendor selection, evaluation, and onboarding initiatives
- Leverage Power BI and advanced Excel to analyze and communicate sourcing and vendor data
- Use historical and current data to identify trends and provide insights that influence future sourcing decisions
- Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives
- Provide strategic direction and sourcing recommendations to support broader procurement objectives
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Experience with print, displays, point-of-purchase, branded merchandise, or related categories strongly preferred
- Strong vendor management and data analysis skills
- Advanced Excel experience; Power BI experience preferred
