Maintenance TechnicianBuild your career maintaining cutting-edge equipment in a fast-paced environment.7am-3:30pm shift during training period, then rotating 12-hour shift 6pm-6amWhat's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Maintenance Technician Details:Contract to Hire position$ 34.73 / hourWeekend work requiredThird ShiftPerform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment to keep operations running efficiently.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and production equipment throughout the facility.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals to complete repairs and installations.Partner with production teams to identify equipment issues, improve performance, and maintain safe operations.Complete welding, pipefitting, lubrication, adjustments, and other maintenance tasks as needed.Maintenance Technician Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, along with 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, air valves, and motor control circuits.Ability to diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs using technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.Welding, pipefitting, and predictive maintenance experience preferred, with a strong commitment to safety and GMP standards.Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour night shift (6 PM-6 AM) and perform work in varying temperatures, dusty environments, and at heights.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
