GIS Engineer

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote GIS Engineer will design, implement, and maintain GIS solutions while collaborating with project teams and troubleshooting software applications. Key responsibilities: Designs, develops, and maintains GIS solutions, ensuring integration and compatibility across platforms Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements and conducts feasibility analyses for future projects Acts as a team leader on projects, instructing and directing the development team while addressing software production problems Required qualifications: ArcGIS experience required Strong knowledge of ESRI products and GIS databases Experience with GIS solution design and maintenance Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C#/.Net Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust and pass a background investigation
