Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime Available

We are a growing food-grade cosmetics manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality personal care and cosmetic products in a clean, safe, and regulated environment. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Blender Operator to join our production team in Deerfield Beach.

The Blender Operator is responsible for accurately mixing and blending cosmetic products according to production formulas and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate blending and mixing equipment to produce cosmetic products according to batch records and formulas.
• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials.
• Transfer ingredients into mixing vessels following established procedures.
• Monitor blending processes and make adjustments as needed.
• Complete production paperwork and batch documentation accurately.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize blending equipment, tanks, and work areas.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
• Assist with material handling and movement of raw materials as needed.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality deviations to management.

• Previous experience as a Blender Operator, Compounder, Mixer, or Manufacturing Operator preferred.
• Experience in cosmetics, food-grade manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or personal care production is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read and follow formulas, work instructions, and batch records.
• Comfortable working with scales, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.

Job Description

This role involves safely operating a flatbed truck to deliver security blockades to various construction sites while performing loading and unloading activities using a forklift. The driver ensures timely and accurate deliveries, supports general labor tasks related to truck loading and unloading, and maintains a strong focus on safety and efficiency throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Drive a flatbed truck to deliver security blockades to various construction sites in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload flatbed trucks with security blockades and related materials.
• Perform general labor tasks associated with truck loading and unloading, ensuring loads are secure and properly balanced.
• Use a forklift to load the truck at the warehouse and to unload materials at delivery sites as needed.
• Operate box trucks or other trucks as required to support delivery operations.
• Follow all safety procedures while driving, loading, unloading, and working around construction sites.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, site personnel, and dispatch to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, loads, and any issues encountered during routes.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and site-specific rules at construction locations.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Proficiency in driving flatbed trucks for deliveries.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience with truck loading and unloading, including securing loads.
• Capability to drive and maneuver box trucks and other commercial trucks as needed.
• Strong safety awareness when working in and around construction sites.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks related to material handling and truck operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in open air warehouse environments.
• Comfort working around construction sites and in outdoor conditions, including heat.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with warehouse and site personnel.
• Attention to detail when securing loads and performing safety checks.

Work Environment

The role is based in an open air warehouse facility and frequently involves working at construction sites. Drivers will spend significant time outdoors, often in heat and varying weather conditions, while loading and unloading trucks and delivering security blockades. The position requires regular operation of flatbed trucks, box trucks, and forklifts, and involves close coordination with warehouse staff and construction site teams in a physically active, hands-on environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
