Join Our Dynamic Team as an OR RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Unit: OR RN (701)
- Location: 11750 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33175

- Join a team of over 110 dedicated professionals, including Directors, Charge RNs, OR Coordinators, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CRNAs.

Unit Highlights:
- Number of Beds: 20 rooms
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Call Requirements:
- 2 weekend shifts (8 hrs)
- 4 evening shifts (4 hrs)
- 1 overnight shift (8 hrs) per month

Essential Requirements:
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting (not a surgical center)
- Strong expertise in ortho, neuro, and robotics
- Must have Meditech experience
- Flexibility to float among different specialties in OR

Typical Procedures:
- Robotics/Da Vinci, SP, DV5, Mako
- Stealth (Neuro), Burn cases (rooms at 84 degrees temp)
- Cysto fluid management, GI tower system, endo
- Laparoscopic equipment, ENT, Eye, Trauma 1 (peds and adults)
- Endovascular hybrid room, implants scanning and documentation

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating room and arrange equipment
- Assist doctors during surgeries
- Maintain a 30-minute turnaround time
- Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment
- Keep accurate inventory records
- Conduct pre and post-surgical repair including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings

Dress Code:
- Scrubs provided in ciel blue color
- Bring your own lock and working shoes
