Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in an acute hospital or inpatient rehabilitation environment is preferred.
• Prior experience evaluating and treating adults with neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Stroke and neuro rehab experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00 to 16:30.
• Shift Name: Days.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide high-quality rehabilitative care in a hospital setting. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional recovery and safe discharge planning. Document patient progress in the medical record and communicate changes in condition to the care team.
