Location: Benton, Arkansas (Saline County)
Facility: Arkansas Health Center – State-operated long-term care facility

PRN Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts

Arkansas Health Center is a 310-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility operated by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. The center provides compassionate, comprehensive care for elderly adults and individuals with complex medical or behavioral needs.

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents. This position involves administering medications, providing wound care, assisting with treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to support each resident’s individualized plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas LPN license in good standing.

• Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred.

• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work rotating or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Physical ability to assist residents with transfers and respond to emergencies.

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.

• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.

• Assist RNs with assessments and care planning.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care.

• Promote a safe, sanitary, and therapeutic environment.
