Senior Loan Coordinator (Hybrid eligible in NV and AZ)

Job Title: Senior Loan Coordinator (Hybrid eligible in NV and AZ) Summary: This position is responsible for the data integrity of customer and loan information as it is populated within loan applications and product packages. The Sr. Loan Coordinator (Sr. LC) works with the Relationship Manager (RM) in creating new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and other customer requests within the Bank’s loan origination system. The Sr. LC is the primary liaison between supporting departments (Compliance, Deposit Operations, Loan Documentation, Loan Servicing, Post-Closing Review) and third‑party vendors. The role also supports training of other Loan Coordinators during onboarding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains knowledge of the Bank’s credit culture and advises RMs on deviations from standard practices. Acts as a resource for RMs on loan operations and processes loan requests through the loan origination system. Serves as a point of contact for other internal departments during the loan process. Completes annual renewals, new loan requests and monthly reporting tasks independently with minimal supervision. Performs daily processes and maintains pace with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end volume levels. Enters customer and loan information into the loan origination system with care for data integrity. Obtains pre‑closing documentation such as flood letters, title work, appraisals, entity documents, corporate searches, credit bureau reports. Interacts verbally and in writing with clients to collect data, documents and respond to general requests. Reviews closed loan packages to ensure no unapproved changes were made at closing. Processes change memos reflecting post‑approval adjustments. Completes recording and collateral perfection, where applicable. Monitors and clears exception items. Provides guidance and training to other Loan Coordinators. Aids in preparing monthly monitoring reports for the Unit and RM team. Assists with daily overdraft processing per RM instructions and bank policies. Assembles and coordinates required financial information for the Credit Department’s analysis. Provides backup support during vacations and high‑volume periods. Participates on internal committees and task forces as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated flexibility, versatility, commitment, and good judgment in a team‑oriented environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other proprietary bank systems. Independent, able to work under tight deadlines and organized. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education and/or Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of Consumer and Commercial Loan Coordinator experience. Strong knowledge of commercial & industrial, commercial real estate, and consumer lending processes and procedures. Past exposure to attorney‑prepared documentation is preferred. Computer and Software Skills: Skilled in operating a personal computer and Microsoft Office. Experience with Bankway, Salesforce, and Gmail.
