Location: Rockland, Massachusetts

Start Date: 08-11-2026

End Date: 11-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises according to each patient's plan of care
Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition
Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to promote independence
Communicate patient status and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Massachusetts PTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy interventions and patient care techniques
Accurate documentation and medical record-keeping
Patient education and home exercise program instruction
Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams
Infection control and safety compliance practices
