Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Virginia License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Med/Surg or Progressive Care Unit experience BLS Virginia License Description: General Comments: Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 35 Patient Ratios: 5-7:1 Unit staffing description: Techs per census, usually 2-4 Type of equipment: Vitals machine, IV pumps, SCDs, Bladder scanner Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend Floating policy: May be floated to other Med/Surg departments Patient Experience requirements: Rehab experience preferred Preferred: Rehab experience Advanced skills needed: None Procedures performed on unit: Medication administration including IVs, PICC, PEG tube administration Bladder scans Trach care Tube feeding Foley catheter placement Bladder irrigation Blood administration Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs Awards/Recognition: Opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
