Family Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a senior-level Family Law Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role requires a strong litigation background to manage complex, high-value family law matters. The attorney will independently handle cases, develop strategic legal solutions, and deliver results in high-stakes situations. Duties Serve as lead counsel on divorce, custody, support, post-judgment, dependency, domestic violence, and high-asset cases. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, evidentiary proceedings, and trials. Communicate case strategy, options, and updates clearly with clients. Develop and execute tailored litigation strategies. Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements. Work closely with paralegals, staff, and external experts. Requirements Extensive Florida family law experience with strong litigation background. Significant courtroom and trial experience. Active Florida Bar license in good standing. Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Florida Bar license.
