Pay: $25.00–$34.00 per hour (Based on Experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and helping keep production running at peak performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and safety concerns
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and spare parts inventory
• Recommend equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
• Train machine operators on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Work closely with production teams to support daily operations
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for specialized repairs and replacement parts
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• 2–4+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience required
• Experience maintaining sheet metal fabrication equipment or similar manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to lift equipment and remain active throughout the shift
