Fitness Desk Attendant

As our Fitness Front Desk Attendant for The Club at New Seabury, you will be the first point of contact for our members, setting the tone for their experience. The Front Desk Attendant will oversee all front desk responsibilities and daily operations. This position will assist members as needed to ensure high standards of service and hospitality are met. This position will also provide assistance in the Fitness Center to ensure cleanliness and safety expectations are met. This a Year-Round, Part-Time position and you must be able to work weekends. HOURS: Friday afternoons & weekend hours. Position Overview: The Fitness Front Desk Attendant is responsible for overseeing front desk operations, assisting members, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. This position also supports the Fitness Center by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Greet members and guests warmly upon entrance and exit. Answer phone inquiries, return voicemails, and provide information about the club and fitness programs. Stay knowledgeable of marketing communications and upcoming programs. Open and close the facility as required by the shift schedule. Ensure the Front Desk operates efficiently while role-modeling the company’s values and culture. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, restrooms, and locker rooms. Replenish products as needed and notify management when inventory is low. Credentials & Experience: Minimum six months’ related experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent member service. Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time. The position may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
