Description Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for entry-level Inspectors. Inspectors are responsible for in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of parts prior to shipment. Job Details Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for entry-level Inspectors. Inspectors are responsible for in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of parts prior to shipment. Essential Functions Of The Position Include Use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, gages and other measurement tools for inspection and specification verification of parts and details Read and interpret blue prints and customer specifications Completion of necessary paperwork for inspection processes Cross-training into other inspection methods including CMM and Whitelight, when applicable Daily housekeeping/6S duties All other duties as assigned Qualifications For The Position Include Previous inspection and/or manufacturing process experience is preferred Demonstrated ability with trigonometry/geometry and basic math skills Demonstrated computer skills Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferred While performing duties of the job, the employee is required with or without accommodation to: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Frequently required to stand and walk and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach Compensation And Benefits Summary Pay Range: $16.00-$17.00/hour Comprehensive Benefits package that includes: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance 401K Plan with Company Match Paid Holidays Paid Time Off $.80/hr. increase after successful completion of 90 days of employment The above listed pay range and benefits are a good faith estimate by Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. for the position at the time of posting.
