PSM (Professional Surveyor & Mapper)

Position Summary:
The PSM will oversee all surveying and mapping operations, ensuring work meets Florida's Minimum Technical Standards. This role involves a blend of technical mastery, field crew management, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee diverse projects including boundary, topographic, and tree surveys, as well as flood certifications and construction staking.

Certification:
Sign and seal completed surveys, plat reviews, and legal descriptions to ensure compliance with state codes and accuracy.
Field & Office Leadership: Direct and mentor field survey parties and office CAD staff. Coordinate daily schedules and resource allocation.
Technical Quality Control: Review field notes and data, perform complex calculations, and implement rigorous quality control before final submission.
Client & Inter-departmental Liaison: Collaborate with DMK’s Civil Engineering division on site plans, drainage, and roadway improvements.

Qualifications:
Licensure: Must be a currently licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the State of Florida.
Experience: Proven history of managing field crews and overseeing large-scale residential and commercial projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and advanced surveying technology (GPS, Topographic Data Collection).
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Southwest Florida landscape and local regulatory requirements.
