The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Door Build Department Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inserts foam into grooves of rails & select stiles at different times Trims edges of profiles on rails with utility knife Communicates potential issues to the production lead person or the Supervisor. Utilizes sandpaper on profile to smoothen the top of the rail. Stocks parts on the build table to keep builders busy with work Reads paperwork, Kanban tickets and/or color-coded labels (depending on department) Utilizes product knowledge of parts you are working with (wood species, etc.) to ensure they’re the correct size Tools, Machinery and Equipment: Tape Measure Glue bottle Utility knife Sandpaper Additional Duties and Responsibilities: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the Rail Cleaner / Stile Foamer position and it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with other employees. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
