Position Description: Are you detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about the cannabis industry?We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Merchandiser to join our growing team in Monroe, MI! This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in presentation, enjoys keeping things organized, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.As a Merchandiser, you’ll ensure our products are beautifully displayed, accurately labeled, and always compliant with state regulations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the visual identity of our dispensary and creating an inviting experience for every customer who walks through our doors.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize and stock shelves with cannabis products, accessories, and promotional materials.Ensure all merchandise is displayed neatly and consistently with brand guidelines.Verify that all products are correctly labeled, priced, and compliant with state requirements.Rotate stock regularly to maintain product freshness and quality.Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and product organization.Collaborate with management and sales teams to create eye-catching, compliant product displays.Maintain a clean, professional, and visually appealing retail environment.Experience & QualificationsMust be 21 years of age or older and able to pass any required background checks.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Prior retail or merchandising experience preferred (cannabis industry experience a plus).Dependable, punctual, and committed to following all compliance procedures.Knowledge & SkillsUnderstanding of retail merchandising principles and visual presentation.Familiarity with cannabis products, categories, and compliance labeling is a plus.Ability to multitask in a busy retail setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining store standards.What We OfferCompetitive starting pay: $15.00/hourEmployee discounts on productsOpportunities for growth and advancement within a fast-growing companyA positive, supportive team environment built on professionalism and shared passionWho You AreYou’re organized, reliable, and have an eye for detail. We’re always looking for talented individuals across our retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and corporate teams.To view all of our current career opportunities, please visit: dacut.com/careers?#Retail26 Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods during scheduled shifts.Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull inventory, boxes, and cannabis products weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach overhead while organizing inventory, conducting audits, stocking products, and maintaining storage areas.Comfortable performing repetitive inventory tasks, including counting, labeling, scanning, data entry, and product verification throughout the workday.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume retail and inventory environment with frequent movement and multitasking.Must possess the manual dexterity necessary to handle cannabis products, packaging materials, scanners, computers, and inventory systems accurately and safely.Ability to use inventory management software, METRC, point-of-sale systems, handheld scanners, and other operational equipment for extended periods.Capable of maintaining a high level of focus, accuracy, and attention to detail while managing audits, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with management, fulfillment teams, vendors, and staff regarding inventory discrepancies, operational needs, and compliance matters.Comfortable working in varying retail and stockroom conditions, including moderate noise levels, tight storage areas, and frequent movement between departments.Ability to maintain organization, cleanliness, and audit-ready inventory conditions at all times.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly
