3x12 hour days, from 07:00 to 19:30, with a holiday rotation. Required to work every other weekend.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Level I Trauma Center, primarily focusing on medical-surgical needs. The position entails working within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes while managing a patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to a diverse group of adult patients.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans, ensuring adherence to best nursing practices.
• Utilize EPIC charting for efficient documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Active South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior travelers are preferred; first-timers are not accepted.
