Medical Device Repair Technician Daylight Shift | Flexible Start Time | No Travel Required Pay: Up to $23.00/hour based on experience TOPS Staffing is hiring a Medical Device Repair Technician for a growing equipment repair operation. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys taking equipment apart, finding the problem, making the repair, and testing it to make sure it works properly. All work is completed in‑house, so there is no customer travel, overnight travel, or on‑call requirement. Schedule & Pay Monday–Friday Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM 8‑hour or 10‑hour shifts your choice 4‑day/10‑hour schedule may also be available Overtime opportunities available Pay up to $23.00/hour based on experience – Sr. techs are over $30hr What You’ll Do You’ll work on medical equipment returned for repair and service. Using established procedures and technical documentation, you’ll troubleshoot problems, replace components, complete repairs, and test equipment before it is returned to service. Inspect incoming medical equipment and determine required repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Diagnose issues and determine the appropriate repair Replace defective mechanical and electrical components Repair and reassemble equipment Test and verify equipment after repairs are completed Read and follow schematics, repair procedures, and technical documentation Accurately document repairs, testing, and required quality information Work with quality and engineering teams when additional troubleshooting is needed Identify opportunities to improve repair processes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a hands‑on technician who enjoys troubleshooting and isn’t afraid to dig into equipment to figure out what is wrong. 1+ years of experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical service or a degree in related field. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read schematics and technical documentation Experience with electronics repair, equipment repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting Strong problem‑solving skills Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Technology, or a related technical field is preferred Experience in an FDA, ISO, or other regulated manufacturing environment is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity?
