Assistant Store Manager

Overview Live the Island Life as an ambassador of Tommy Bahama. Represent the brand’s seasonal trends, lead team to achieve goals, create a welcoming environment, exceed guest expectations, and share knowledge of designs while providing world‑class service. Responsibilities Partner with the Store Manager to create a relaxed destination and motivate the team. Build strong sales and service relationships with guests across all aspects of store operations, consistently modeling key sales and service behaviors. Cultivate a culture of selling by achieving the sales plan through efficient planning, execution, business analysis, and streamlining store processes with the Store Manager. Create a learning environment to coach and develop retail team members, promoting internal career growth with thoughtful hiring and clear performance expectations. Qualifications At least 3 years of retail experience. At least 2 years of management team supervision experience. Exposure to merchandising and visual concepts. Experience in coaching and developing a team. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate, analyze reports, identify opportunities, and take initiative in merchandising and presentation adjustments. College degree in Business or a related field. Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business. Physical Requirements Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently. Bend, stoop, or kneel frequently. Climb ladders occasionally. Stand for the duration of a shift (up to 8 hours). Work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation Rate Range: $20.00 (or local minimum) to $35.00 per hour.
