Construction Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial and K-12 construction projects throughout the Central Ohio market . This individual will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do Lead all day-to-day field operations from project start through closeout. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone completion. Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a strong safety culture. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship. Coordinate inspections with owners, architects, engineers, and municipal officials. Manage project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, and progress updates. Work closely with Project Managers to proactively identify and resolve field issues. Maintain strong communication with clients while building long-term relationships. Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget expectations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor. Experience leading commercial, institutional, or K-12 construction projects. Ability to successfully manage multiple subcontractors and project schedules. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office. Stable work history with a commitment to delivering quality projects.
