Industrial Maintenance Technician (Recycling & Waste Industry)

Job Description Job Description We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians with firsthand experience working on heavy equipment and Industrial Systems. This is a field-based role requiring mechanical ability, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in demanding environments. What You will Do - Perform maintenance and repairs on conveyors, balers, and other recycling equipment - Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems - Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed - Assist with facility repairs including concrete work, structural fixes, and general building maintenance - Diagnose equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance - Work safely in active Industrial and Recycling environments What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of industrial or heavy equipment maintenance experience - Strong mechanical skills (conveyors, hydraulics, bearings, motors, etc.) - Welding and fabrication experience preferred - Ability to read basic schematics and troubleshoot issues independently - Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions (outdoors, dirty environments, heights, etc.) - Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, if applicable) What Sets You Apart - Experience in recycling, waste, or material handling facilities - Multi-skilled (mechanical + welding + basic electrical) - Initiative-taker who can work with minimal supervision
